Hi, I'm Stephanie.
I'm a mom of two, a classroom teacher, and a former instructional coach.
Before becoming a mom, I spent years learning how children learn best. I supported students, worked alongside teachers, and saw how much the right routine, environment, or simple tool could help a child feel more confident, capable, and secure.
Then I became a mom myself, and that perspective changed.
Everything I knew as an educator suddenly had to fit into family life — mornings at home, after-school transitions, meals, play, routines, growing independence, and all the small moments that shape a child's day.
Now, as a classroom teacher and mom of two, I'm in a season of balancing work, family, home, and all the little pieces in between. It has made me appreciate simple systems more than ever.
Not systems that make life perfect.
Systems that make it feel a little calmer.
A morning routine that helps everyone know what comes next. A home setup that makes things easier to put away. A simple activity that keeps little hands busy. A few minutes of preparation that makes tomorrow run more smoothly. A product that genuinely earns its place in our home.
That's why I created Teacher Mom Edit.
This is where my experience as an educator meets my everyday life as a mom. I share practical routines, thoughtful home systems, simple learning ideas, useful printables, and carefully chosen products that help family life feel more manageable.
Everything here is designed with two things in mind: what supports children, and what is realistic for the person caring for them.
I believe children thrive with connection, predictability, and opportunities to become more independent.
I believe learning can happen naturally through everyday life.
I believe a home can feel calm without being perfectly organized.
And I believe the best systems are often the simplest ones — the ones that quietly make the day run a little better.
Teacher Mom Edit is for moms balancing work, family, home, and everything that comes with raising children, while still wanting to be present for the moments that matter.
You don't need to do more.
Sometimes you just need a simpler way to do what you're already doing.
That's what I hope you find here.
Welcome to Teacher Mom Edit — teacher-informed, mom-tested, and made for a little less chaos and a little more calm.
